La Botija de Abuelito was composed by Rudy Calzado and recorded originally by Jose Fajardo y sus Estrellas in the early 1950's. La Botija de Abuelito has been and always will be one of the staple hits that shot Jose Fajardo (Father) into international star status. Fajardo, Jr. re-recorded this music with a modern twist in memory of his father.
